We can’t be good at everything. But we can certainly adapt and learn to be ok at something.

The point I wanna make clear is that there are things we’re good at and things we’re not.

We can’t work around that or change that.

We simply have to identify our strengths and play into them rather than identifying our weaknesses and trying to change who we are.

You might be struggling with so many elements of your diet and training but the fact is you may not have found something that plays into your strengths.

I had lots of jobs before becoming a Personal Trainer.

Knocked on doors, was a Plumber’s labourer, worked in a Pharmacy, cleaned toilets…

I was what can only be described as one of the most average employees any company has ever had. Excelling in some aspects (the jobs I enjoyed) and cutting corners in others (the jobs I hated).

I then became a Coach.

Everything slotted into place and with my work I play my strengths everyday, that’s it.

What I want you to think is that there is a workout plan and a sustainable effective diet for you out there.

“You may just not have discovered the perfect way YET.”

It’s there, I’m not a hundred percent certain how long it will take to get right but it’s there.

Think about that every damn day.

So it’s ok to not be great at some things, there is something out there you’re very good at I am 100% sure.

Even the least ambitious person in the planet is very good at watching back to back episodes of Luther.

So, today, instead of being disheartened about your progress this for or thinking “I’m not cut out for dieting.”
