Nutrition Facts:
Halo Top ice cream is low-carb, low-fat, and high-protein. Not your average ice cream, folks.
Halo Top is sweetened with stevia (a plant that happens to taste like sugar) and erythritol (a sugar alcohol derived from fruit). Both stevia and erythritol have little-to-no impact on blood sugar levels.
As you can see, after subtracting fiber and erythritol, there are 4 “net-carbs” in a serving of Halo Top. And there are 4 servings per pint.
Ingredients in Vanilla Flavor: Milk and cream, eggs, erythritol, prebiotic fiber, milk protein concentrate, organic cane sugar, vegetable glycerin, organic vanilla extract, organic vanilla beans, sea salt, organic carob gum, organic guar gum, organic stevia.
While the ingredients aren’t flawlessly “clean,” they’re all relatively real identifiable ingredients. There are no mysteries or funky additives.
And thankfully, most flavours are actually gluten-free except for most of the cookie flavours. (Their oatmeal flavour is surprisingly gluten-free.)
And none of them contain milk that was sourced from a cow given growth hormones.
With 240 calories and 24 grams of protein in an entire pint, it’s almost worth trading your protein shake for–although you’ll of course get 16 grams of carbs, too, but that’s still pretty low for an entire pint of ice cream! (Some pints, like Cookies n’ Cream, have 320 calories.) Nonetheless, get down to your local Iceland Warehouse today and stock up whilst you can!
You’d be MAD to miss out on this offer guys and girls!
